This is the Cascade Reflections Studio in
Portland Oregon. Our torch is a National 8M with SM-7 tip. You can also
see our Kiln in the background (by E.K. Miller Co.). The leaf on the
table in front of the torch is a cut piece of stone. The glass rods
are Italian Effetre. |
| Here we see Norm working on one of his
first true off mandral sculptures. Off mandral means that the piece
is done by building up the glass on its own color rod and not on the metal
mandral. |

Norm has been working with glass since
(July, 1992).
He is currently employed at United Parcell Service as a delivery driver in
Portland Or. |
| Here we see an Alene manipulating molten
glass with a pair of tweezers to create a sculptural bead. |
